The main landing area at Ravenheim.com has been changed to a portal page; from here, visitors can proceed straight to Underworld, or go to the developer page for Exalted Seracthon. Any other unique sites will branch from there, though none are planned at this time. What is planned is a basic template for a Web Ring, which will include links to other owner-curated sites like this one, which are part of a similar theme or related subject, under the agreement that their link list includes this site.
Big platforms are wielding too much editorial power over content creators, stealing their intellectual property, and infringing on their rights to free speech, so a return to individual websites in necessary. Shared link lists between websites, whether in an official Web Ring or not, used to be called ‘link exchange’, and users could navigate subjects of interest and participate in site communities without the need for search engines. If we want to preserve or re-establish a standard of fair treatment and information integrity, we must adopt this model again.
